Drumlin Hounds Raft Race took place on Sunday the 14th of June In Cootehill Co. Cavan Along the Knappagh/Annalee River....

The Weather was fantastic for the event, 39 home made rafts took part in the event.  Monaghan Sub Aqua Search & Recovery Unit were glad to offer their services on water safety for the day.  Raft Racers from Cootehill, Drumlin Hounds Club, Clones, Rockcorry, Tullyvin, Lisnalong, Magheracloone, Inniskeen, Killanny, Castleblayney and other surrounding areas took to the waters to win the race....

There were over 1500 spectators at the finish line..

Everyone retuned to the Lovely Gallonray House For Food, Drink and of course the results!!!!!.

This will be an Annual Event.   Congrats to Drumlin Hounds for such a well planned day!!
